Born in Illinois in 1996. I moved to Arizona when I was four and grew up here for the rest of my life. So I’m technically an Arizona native. I grew up attached to television. Was raised with shows like Spongebob Squarepants and Looney Toons as my main source of entertainment I knew I wanted to be in the industry¬† from an early age but refrained from pursuing it because of fear and the fact of me knowing the chances of me being able to do it. That didn’t stop me from doing the absolute minimum by making little videos with friends in my neighborhood as soon as I got my hands on my first camera phone. As I got older I started getting exposed to sketch comedy watching shows like SNL and Mad TV but not only that because around the same time Youtube started rearing it’s head and showing itself as a form of entertainment. Watching my favorite Youtubers pushed me more in the direction of wanting to be in the entertainment business. As I got into high school I started learning about deeper forms of comedy such as Stand-Up and more classic sketch comedy such as In Living Color and The Chappelle Show being one of my biggest inspirations. I never joined theater in high school having still been involved with basketball but my junior and senior year I was apart of the broadcasting class at my school doing the morning announcements and making small informative sketches and videos for the school to see. I graduated in 2014 then from there I spent a lot of time figuring out what it was I was really wanting to do. I spent my first year wanting to be a psychology major and even though my grades in school were not the best I was now in a spot realizing that I wanted to to learn. Not the things that they were teaching us but the things I wanted to know. The brain fascinated me and I spent a lot of time watching psychology and serial killer psychology documentaries. I took a semester of psychology at MCC before I realized it wasn’t something I was really wanting to do. I took a year off of school to work and sort out myself as a person I was growing into myself. Trying out music, mainly rap, thinking that’s what I wanted to do. I ended up dropping that and spent the rest of 2016 working figuring that it would just be best if I worked and get a start on blending in and making myself another member of society. Then in early 2017 I had a realization. The realization being that I did not want to be that. I didn’t want to blend in and spend the rest of my life working myself to the bone living in stress as so many people around me were. I made my decision that I was going to pursue writing. Getting a start right away enrolling in school to be a Film major and working on my first short film script with a couple friends. After a semester of school I again came to terms that school wasn’t for me and I really only wanted to learn the things I wanted to learn. So now here I am working independently trying to create a story for myself. Trying to make it into the business by studying the greats and practicing. Doing stand up and working on scripts and music in between because if there’s one thing I learned it’s that all forms of writng will make you a better writer. This site is essentially a resume for employers looking to hire a writer. I have blog posts that I have made as well as videos and shorts I have made and taken part in. Take a look around and my contact information is below if interested in meeting. Thank you.
